Behind TC Wright

TC has been writing poetry, lyrics and music since childhood, and that early pull toward storytelling through song has never let up. She holds a Bachelor of Composition from the Australian Institute of Music and a Certificate in Performance, with a style that draws on everything from acoustic guitar and piano to vocal harmony and studio production — always in service of an emotionally honest song.

Over the years, TC has performed at venues, festivals, churches and community events across Sydney and regional Australia, including the Tamworth Country Music Festival, The Basement, and countless folk clubs and pubs in between. Her original album Eccentric Mess, along with the EP Arise and the album Cry Out (made in collaboration with producer Dan Hopkins), are available now — and she was commissioned to compose original music for Holy Cross Helensburgh's Lenten programs. Whether on stage or in the studio, TC writes and performs music that means something.
